SugarConnection Sydney Postponed: What You Should Know and Why
Amid the spread of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, more commonly known as Covid-19, we have elected to postpone the SugarConnection event in Sydney, Australia on March 25, 2020. As the gravity of the Covid-19 situation has become clear, we believe that the exercise of caution is the best strategy to protect our valued customers, partners, and Sugar employees. We are exploring options to still have the event virtually and those details will be relayed as soon as they are available.
SugarConnection is meant to be a time where we can learn, network, and grow together and that is something we deeply value here at Sugar. However, with travel restrictions and recommendations provided by the World Health Organization and CDC, we believe that having SugarConnection Sydney would pose an unnecessary risk for all involved. As such, until the threat of Covid-19 passes, we will postpone. Throughout this time, we will continue to communicate with you regarding the outcome of this decision.
It is our hope that our customers and partners will work through the ramifications of Covid-19 alongside Sugar as we continue to navigate this situation. To say we are disappointed would be an understatement, but safety is paramount and regardless of what does occur, Sugar will continue to be an empowering partner for your customer experience efforts. We will be releasing more details, such as refund information, within the next 24 hours. Should you have any questions or concerns before then, please contact sugarconnection@sugarcrm.com and we will work diligently to provide you with answers.
